Welcome to Armalyte Industries

17.01.12 - New 'Lung For The New Year.

It feels like it's been a while coming but we can finally reveal more details on the forthcoming Concrete Lung vinyl due to hit some time in March/April. It will feature two brand new and exclusive tracks; 'Die Dreaming' and 'Communal Slave' and will be available on strictly limited edition 7" vinyl. Each vinyl comes with the link to a high quality mp3 of the tracks, a nifty insert and is hand-numbered to just 250 copies.

13.01.12 - Keeping Busy The K-Nitrate Way.

And so we welcome in the new year with some groovy K-Nitrate news. First up, our dynamic duo have been confirmed for the forthcoming Dark7 Festival, playing alongside Deviant UK, Kommand+Kontrol and Machine Rox amongst others. Tickets are but a bargainous tenner in advance (more on the door, obviously) and are available from Ticketweb. Check out the flyer above for more info. In other 'Nitrate News, the chaps over at Release Magazine have got their reviewing hats on and tackled 'Stark Punkt' in their own inimitable way, so big thanks to them.

25.12.11 - Happy F'kin Christmas!

So, it's that time of year to drink, make merry and spend time with loved ones. In keeping with the spirit of the season it's only right that we take pause to spare a thought for everyone that has made our 2011 so damn fantastic. We released some superb CDs, toured the UK on the Incineratour, we made it as far as Sweden and met some ace new folk, and caught up with some groovy folk from our murky past, along the way; Kev & Louise in Newcastle, Mike Riot in P'boro, Barry at the Classic Grand in Glasgow and Mak at Slimelight, London. Dave Brockie of Gwar, Jeff Scheel of Gravity Kills, Jamie Baker of Officers, Phil Barry of Be My Enemy, Raymond Watts of PIG, Gary Robertson of i!, Micke and Mattias from Complete Control Productions and Anders from The Pain Machinery All have provided either support, inspiration, encouragement or a combination of the three. All would be for nought however without the support and friendship of Armalyte's extended post-nuclear family - Concrete Lung, Digicore, Je$us Loves Amerika, K-Nitrate and Paresis - without whom we would be nothing but a hollow shell of broken dreams. Also, a massive shout out goes to all the fans and folks that have put their money where their ears are and have supported the bands by either buying the music or rolling up to the gigs. Without you we would crash and burn faster than you could say, well, crash and burn, I guess. Various press bods also deserve an honourable mention in the shape of: Breda at Zillo, Dom at Soundsphere, Rob at DSO, Adam at AModelOfControl, Louise and Darren at Terrorizer, Merlin at Metal Hammer and Kevin Stewart-Panko at Rock Sound, cheers to y'all. Here's to a storming 2012!

10.12.11 - Je$us Loves Amerika's 'FYA' EP Out Now!

Released to coincide with JLA's storming support slot with the mighty Front 242 in Glasgow, we can finally spill the beans on all things 'FYA'. So whaddya wanna know? Limited to just 100 hand-numbered (by the band no less) copies and coming in a snazzy, eco-friendly recycled card wallet. 'FYA' is 4 tracks/20 odd minutes long and the title track has been produced/mixed by Phil Barry of Be My Enemy/Cubanate fame, and sounds suitably immense. Mastering is by the 2Bit Hero himself, Jules Seifert, who was last seen doing a blinding job for us when he mastered Digicore's 'Without Freedom' album. Anyways, we anticipate that these discs are gonna move fast so get your orders in quick as availability will be questionable after this weekend. And if you're really nice then we might even get the boys to sign a few copies too.

19.11.11 - New Je$us Loves Amerika And CONCRETE LUNG Incoming!

Two new releases incoming? WTF? Yeah, we know, just what the hell is going on, eh? First up is a low key, under the radar, release courtesy of Je$us Loves Amerika. Four tracks, 20 minutes long and limited to just 100 copies, it's a precurser to a couple of offical releases next year including an EP and a brand new album. It's only been 10-odd years since their 'Advanced Burial Technology' debut, but who's counting? Back to the here and now, this brand new single will be released just in time for JLA's show with the mighty Front 242 on Saturday 10th December. Cool, eh?

Elsewhere, tentative details are emerging about the next chapter in the CONCRETE LUNG story; A first for us here at Armalyte, it's gonna be a two track mini-monster on, wait for it... 7" vinyl. Limited to just 250 hand-numbered copies, each vinyl will come with a unique code to access hi-quality mp3s, these brand new, exclusive tracks will not be made available anywhere else or featured on any future CONCRETE LUNG releases. Release date is TBC but we're hoping for early 2012, but don't quote us on that. As always, more info as and when...

11.11.11 - What Are Record Labels Good For, Anyways?

Hell, like we'd know. The kindly folks over at Collapse Board were nice enough to ask us some questions and we took time out of our busy schedule (ie: eating McNuggets and playing Xbox) to pen a response. The article concerns itself with just what exactly indie labels bring to the table when it comes to perpetuating the music we (and hopefully you) love. Drop by and show 'em some love.

06.11.11 - K-Nitrate Support Machine Rox At Slimes!

Celebrate the Festive season by dancing your ass off to K-Nitrate as they support the groovy Machine Rox at their inaugral Cyber Attack Night. K-Nitrate may very well be rocking a new look. Or not. It's all specualtive at the moment so take everything we say with a pinch of pixie dust. In the meantime, why not click the flyer above for a link to the Facebook page thingy.

31.10.11 - Remember, Remember, Some Gigs In November!

It's all kicking off next month as Digicore headline Stereo in York alongside local punk legends The Vexed and our very own Paresis, and Paresis manage to get themselves even further North to support the mighty Aesthetic Perfection. See the flyers for more deets or drop us a line. Or don't. You decide.

24.09.11 - Paresis Overdose!

If you didn't think we fired you enough Paresis-related monkeyshines yesterday then happy days as we've just heard that they're playing The Met Lounge, Peterborough, on Friday 14th October, alongside Let's Meet Jesus and In Archives.

23.09.11 - Introducing... Paresis!

In keeping with our abnormally high work ethic of late, we can happily reveal that the latest addition to Team Armalyte is Paresis, a one man noise unit who we discovered when INCINERATOUR rolled thru Peterborough earlier in the year. Blown away by their expansive sound and their hunger to do something a little differently to every other band out there, Paresis made quite an impression. Currently hard at work on their debut EP with production team Hateswitch Inc. (Concrete Lung / Needleye), Paresis will be getting into the spirit of things by supporting Goteki in London on 21.10.11 and the mighty Aesthetic Perfection in Newcastle on 22.10.11. More info over on our gigs page. In the meantime, check 'em out and show Paresis some love...

23.09.11 - Wired For Sound(Cloud)!

Being a kinda record label, we thought it'd be kinda cool, and somewhat sensible, to let you actually hear some of the noise we spew out on a semi-irregular basis. We've finally found a suitable platform in Soundcloud that not only all the cool kids like, but that actually appears to do what we want it to do and with minimal fuss. The plan is to use it to drip feed you rare remixes, demos, release teasers and whatever else we stumble acrross in the vaults. Up now is an extended trailer for K-Nitrate's 'Stark Punkt', a teaser of the new Paresis EP, a couple of vintage Concrete Lung recordings and a stonking Digicore remix of a track for our mates in Be My Enemy. So yeah, cool shit all round, generally.

30.08.11 - Je$us Loves $weden!

News just in, Je$us Loves Amerika will be headlining Alternight in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday 10th September. Anders from The Pain Machinery will be DJing alongside Ronny (Clan Of Xymox) Moorings, so it should make for an incredible evening. For more info hit up the facebook page or summat.

07.09.11 - K-Nitrate's 'Stark Punkt' Out Now!

The new "Is it an EP, is it an album?" from UK Industrial Techno legends K-Nitrate is available now. 'Stark Punkt' is a kinda remix companion to last years electrifying 'Voltage' album. We'll be celebrating the release with an exclusive K-Nitrate gig at Slimelight on Saturday 15th October. More details over on the Gigs page, in the meantime, you know what to do...

20.08.11 - Gigs? We got 'em...

They may spend most of their time squirrelled away in the studio, but occasionally some of the artists here at Team Armalyte actually play gigs. Incoming we have CONCRETE LUNG playing a special set at the infamous (and a bit rude) Club Antichrist. Obviously we approve. Elsewhere, K-Nitrate will be celebrating the imminent release of their killer 'Stark Punkt' EP with a one-off show at Slimelight and Je$us Loves Amerika will be tearing it up alongside the one and only FRONT 24(fuckin')2 in Glasgow. Seriously, we are not worthy, Dude...

19.07.11 - Build It And They Will Come...

It's been a while coming but we've finally unleashed the all-new Armalyte dot com. We've been stuffing Special K down the original site's throat like some crazed digital foie gras and can now reveal it's sleek new curves to the world. Designed by the beautiful Christian of Weber, doubtless there'll be some initial hiccups where I do my best to rape his code and ruin all his hard work, but stick with us, we'll get through it together. Now it may appear that we've been awfully quiet since the INCINERATOUR but that's more because we're the shy, understated type. Behind the scenes there's been a load going on including two (count 'em) bands joining Team Armalyte (much more info to follow...) and work continuing apace on new releases from CONCRETE LUNG, Digicore and Je$us Loves Amerika. So yeah, Armalyte: Not dead, just power-napping.

08.06.11 - Just One FiXt!

So, INCINERATOUR has been and gone and we're left with nought but good memories, bad hangovers and a copy of Razzle Extreme. Still, we had fun didn't we. Didn't we? We think so. In the spirit of getting back into it, whatever it may be, we've only gone and organised some form of U.S. ditribution with those sexy FiXt folk, home of Celldweller and some other bands. We don't know, since when do we listen to industrial??? They're now stocking the ever so sexy new albums from Digicore and Concrete Lung and, in a world exclusive (Hallelujah!) they are the exclusive (we did mention it was exclusive, yeah?) digital distributor for haloblack's 'throb.', one of our fave Armalyte releases ever. As you all, probably, know, haloblack became XLOVER who became MOTOR who know tour the world with Depeche Mode and Gary Numan, so now we are officially "people who know people". +10 cool points for us, eh? Anyway, we've completely digressed, what the funk were we yapping about? Oh, yeah, the United States of Armalyte... We've gone Amerikan. It's a big, scary, amazing place and it's now easier than ever to purchase your favourite Armalyte tunes direct from them if you're that way inclined. Jump to it, soldier!

28.02.11 - Digicore - 'Without Freedom' Out Now!

"Without freedom we will fall!" warn York noise-niks Digicore, and they've got a point. 11 tracks (and 2 remixes) of defiant, punishing alt.metal that combines gabber blasts with drum'n'bass to viscious, vital effect, the time is right for Digicore to make their mark on the world. Most of the reviews so far have been killer, and it's fair to say that we love 'em. Hopefully you will too.
