Plumbing the depths, Concrete Lung will release a new, hyper limited edition 7", 'Drain The Reservoir' b/w 'Cop', a cover of the Swans classic, on 13th March. Unlucky for some, eh? To pre-order this neo-dirge anthem, visit the Lung's Bandcamp now!
01.01.16 - NEW YEAR, NEW NOISE!
No words necessary. Meet London-based metal titans Khaidian. This is a work in progress look at 'Pearls Before Swine', to give you an idea of just how hard exactly these guys shred. Stay tuned for more over the coming months...
23.09.15 - JUDDA Pre-Order Now Live!
20.09.15 - JUDDA X Monster Truck!
10.08.15 - 'Compound Eye' Now Sold Out!
Good news, for us at least, we're now totally out of all our copies of MC Lord of The Flies and PIG's stonking 'Compound Eye Sessions' CD. If you wanted a copy then don't despair just yet as you can still get a copy from our friends in Europe at POPoNAUT and , if you're farther afield in the Americas and whatnot, then the cool gang over at Storming The Base will sort you out. Just tell 'em that we sent you, eh?
12.03.15 - PIG vs. MC Lord Of The Flies Pre-Order! 95% Sold Already!
**UPDATE - With less than a week to go, 95% of the limited edition digipacks have sold, you crazy, beautiful motherfunkers. Move quick if you want to secure one of the final physical copies**
Happy to say that we can finally unleash this particular porky prime cut on the world, 'Compound Eye Sessions' sees two alt. scene heavyweights Marc Heal and Raymond Watts (both of whom should require no introduction..) square off against one another. Watts appears under his default guise of PIG, whereas Heal exists as MC Lord of The Flies, a cheeky nod to Cubanate's 'Barbarossa' album. Recorded during shared time in the studio in 2012, 'Compound Eye Sessions' documents this unholy union of terror, tyranny and trepidation. Zoom on over to the pre-order page to bag yourself a copy of the beautiful limited edition CD or some ultra-neat shirts, and we'll throw in some badges and shiz by way of thanks, as well as trying to get both artists to sign some of the discs before they escape our maximum security storage facility. Official release date is Monday 13th April, whereupon the release will be available as a strictly limited edition of 500 physical copies, as well as all that digital malarky like the iTunes, the bandcamps and the like.
15.01.15 - Je$us Loves Amerika Are 'Falling'!
It feels like it's been a while coming, but Je$us Loves Amerika's final part of their "Three Colours" EP trilogy is (almost) finally upon us. To celebrate, the lovely folk over at Superluminal are throwing a celebratory bash where you'll not only be able to get first dibs on the EP, but JLA will be hitting the stage with new guy Gordon Lukes, and supprt comes in the form of the suitably nuts Metaltech. Be at The Poetry Club, Glasgow, on Saturday 7th February for a night you'll never forget. We blame the Buckfast and Iron Bru.
13.01.15 - NEW DISEASE PRE-ORDER NOW LIVE!
The discs are finally at the pressing plant so we're happy to announce that you can pre-order this cracking release now. Scoot here to buy the deluxe, 2 disc edition of New Disease's critically acclaimed 'Patent Life album, save money AND know that you're helping to support homegrown alt-rock talent. Everybody wins!
8.01.15 - DUBSTEP RUINS EVERYTHING!
Well, it does, doesn't it? Taken from the latest CTRL ALT DEL album, the demented 'Super Galactic Battle Attack' (Buy it here! Hint hint!), the video for 'Dubstep Ruins Everything' sees Petrol Bastard's Jonathon Tetsuo wooing CAD's very own Em. Will it end up with them living happily ever after? Probably not, but you'll have to watch the video to find out...
24.12.14 - NEW DISEASE JOIN ARMALYTE!
Happy Christmas one and all, we trust that you're taking it suitably easy. OK, we promised to reveal the latest band to join us here at #TeamArmalyte, and it gives us great pleasure to proudly announce that we're working with UK rock titans New Disease. Featuring various members of The Mission, The Wildhearts, Daisy Chainsaw and One Minute Silence, New Disease emerged in the early 90's as a force to be reckoned with; their epic, arena-sized riffs combined with heart-felt vocals to devastating effect. After ten years in limbo, Armalyte Industries are proud to finally unleash a very special edition of New Disease's debut album, 'Patent Life (Deluxe)'. Released ealier this year by the band themselves in the USA, this revised and expanded edition comes packed to the gills with B-sides, unreleased tracks and demos. Available as a double CD edition or digital version available at all reputable online retailers, 'Patent Life (Deluxe)' is released on Monday 16th February 2015. For an early listen, check out our Soundcloud page to hear an extended promo for the album as well as an exclusive taste of the bonus disc.
01.12.14 - SUPER GALACTIC CTRL ALT DEL ATTACK!
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... a copy of the new CTRL ALT DEL album, 'Super Galactic Battle Attack', and it's a fucking EDM monsster. Feel free to stream/buy the digital version over on the Armalyte Bandcamp page, and if all has gone according to plan, then it should be available digitally via iTunes, Amazon, and all the usual online haunts. For the resolutely old skool folk out there that still love their physical media, buy your copy direct from us at the Armalyte Webstore and we'll throw in a bonus CTRL ALT DEL EP as our festive gift to you. This offer's good thru to the end of December, subject to availability and various terms and conditions apply, including: mandatory sacrifice of your first born, dressing like Santa/Satan, and getting an Armalyte tattoo somewhere rude. Only joking, just seeing if anybody reads this shit.
30.11.14 - NEW CONCRETE LUNG EP: 'TOLERANCE & DEPENDENCY'!
Another day, another transmission direct from Hell, courtesy of our resident Bleakcore outfit Concrte Lung. 'Tolerance & Dependency is six tracks of The 'Lung at their heaviest and, sare we say, ugliest best. Don't believe us? Check out this fantastically comprehensive review over at Ringmaster Review which sums it up far more eloquently than we ever could. We're just waiting on a very limited run of physical copies (all numbered by hand) of the EP, that can be ordered here. Please note: The CDs will come listed as being part of the second pressing - Now 'Lung have gone "international", it means that the first run of CDs were printed Down Under, as opposed to our run being put together over here. For any purists out there that are wondering what the difference is, the simple answer is "none whatsoever". For those on the more "Australian" side of the world, you can buy the CD (or the digital version) direct from Concrete Lung's Bandcamp page. Sorted, mate.
28.11.14 - Marc Heal vs. PIG!
That's right, contain yourself. The secret that we've been sat on for what feels like eternity, can finally be revealed; Next year, on Monday 30th March 2015, we are hella, hella excited to officially announce that we'll be releasing the epic clash between two legendary heavyweights; Marc Heal of Cubanate / C-Tec / Ashtrayhead will go toe-to-toe with the Notorious P.I.G. himself, Mr Raymond Watts, who you may know via his exemplary work with KMFDM, Schaft and Schwein. Whilst details at present are being kept delibrately on the down-low, we can reveal that the EP will be entitled 'Compound Eye', and will feature two brand new tracks plus two new remixes from each artist, bringing the EP up to a not insubstantial eight tracks. We've heard it, and we love it. More info soon, but in the meantime, why not check out the details surrounding the EP's Launch party, which is now confirmed to take place in London, at Fortress Studios, on Saturday 11th April 2015. We shall be boozing it up alongside messers Heal and Watts, and scene legends Phil Barry (Be My Enemy / Cubanate) and Jared Louche (Prude / Chemlab) are promising to make an appearance too. For tickets, click here. #PartyOfTheYear...
20.10.14 - New CTRL ALT DEL EP & Reissues Insanity!
Wow! What a day. Choosing to release the superb new CTRL ALT DEL EP, 'Dr. Electric Fingers', at exactly the same time as re-pressing their SOLD OUT EPs? What the freaking what? Yep. Madness, we know, but what can you do? Never ones to be driven by common sense or reason, we leapt at the opportunity to reissue the exceptionally awesome CTRL ALT DEL back catalogue in it's entirety, in sexy remastered form no less. They're shiny, they're colourful, they're loud. What more could you want? For your delight and delectation, we present 'Deletist', '101', 'Dance Floors Destroyed' and the new single, 'Dr. Electric Fingers' in strictly limited edition form. We're banging 'em out at a not unreasonable £7 each, BUT if you use the link below you can grab all four CDs for a bargainous £20 all in, or £23 if you're one of those exotic types, and come from somewhere warmer / further away / more awesome (delete as appropriate). You can also download 'Dr. Electric Fingers' in all it's myriad forms along with some supersly remixes from Ruinizer, Paresis, Flesh Eating Foundation and Digicore, FOR FREE. If you don't love it, we will give you your money back. How's that sound?
01.10.14 - Be Scene Not Herd!
Goddamn if you don't wanna look all sexy and shit, just like us. And with that in mind, why not wear your allegiance to the cause on your sleeve, and the rest of your upper-body, with this ace new shirt fresh from the hard working paws of our monkey slaves in the Armalyte workshop. Is it a satirical swipe at the lack of community within our scene? Or is it a heartfelt plea, from us to you, to remain steadfast in the face of overbearing, and annoying, musical trends. We don't know, we just work here. Besides, if this shirt doesn't make you the coolest moutherfucker in the room then you're clearly doing summat wrong. Swing by our merch page before they're all gone, gone, gone!
08.09.14 - PARESIS ALBUM PRE-ORDER GOES LIVE!
It's been a long time coming, but the scathing debut album - 'HOPE LIES TORN' - from our resident Doom-smith, Paresis, is now available for pre-order! "Yay!" we hear you shout, and you'd be absolutely correct to be excited about this kind of announcement. Expanding the explosive Paresis sound in some pretty wild directions (including psytrance, for all you ravers), 'Hope Lies Torn' proves to be a debut of extraordinary scope, it's recurrent themes of introspection and desire collide to create eleven tracks of sweet, beautiful aural terror. As a bit of a gesture to all you lovely people out there that keep the faith, and keep us doing what we do, if you pre-order now then you'll save a quid, and of course we're doing the obligatory bundle thing to help save you money whilst simultaneously supporting your desire/need/compulsion to show your love for Paresis.
The bundles come in three distinct flavours - "CREEPING DOOM", which is the album in all it's digipak glory. "TANGIBLE DOOM", which throws a sexy Paresis tee into the equation, but please do let us know what size you wear. And finally, the "ULTIMATE DOOM" pack, an unholy trilogy featuring 'Hope Lies Torn', that Paresis tee PLUS the blistering 'Last Shadow' EP. As an extra bonus - sweet Christ, we're starting to sound like a JML TV commercial - we shall throw in a sweet-ass #TeamArmalyte shirt for absolutely nada, by way of thanks, though this is limited as fook to the first 20 peeps that pre-order as we don't have many left hidden away in our merch bunker). All that remains is for you to click that slinky BUY NOW button below to pre-order this bad-boy! Official release date is Monday 13th October, but we're sure we can whack it in the post to you pretty sharpish. Say no more and all that nonsense...
11.08.14 - Protafield VS. Paresis!
So, Alt-Fest is no more. Sad times. To cheer ourselves up we thought we'd put a gig on up Newcastle way, 'cos that's where all the cool kids live. It's all a bit last minute 'cos of the whole Alt-Fest thing falling through, but we've managed to drag a superb line up out of pretty much nothing with pretty much no time. Go us and RFTK Promotions, eh? Yeah, as we keep telling you, we rock!!
04.06.14 - Alt-Fest: Concrete Lung Out, Jensen In!
++ Concrete Lung Press Release ++
++ Wednesday 4th June 2014 ++
++ For Immediate Release ++
It is with great regret that we have to announce that Concrete Lung will be unable to appear at this year's inaugural Alt-Fest event. The "factors beyond our control" caveat has come into play, and despite Concrete Lung trying every conceivable solution to play the festival, they have had no success and have unfortunately had to pull out. The band are gutted that they have let both their fans and the promoters down, and that they won't get the opportunity to play alongside many of their friends and peers. Replacing Concrete Lung on the Alt-Fest bill are Armalyte label mates, Jensen. Formed from the ashes of screamo band Ourfamous Dead, Leeds rockers Jensen recently released their debut EP, 'Zero One [Redux]' to universal acclaim, and will be opening Alt-Fest's Metal stage on Friday 15th August at 13.05PM. In the meantime, Concrete Lung are hard at work in the studio, recording a new EP for release later in the year. More details will follow soon.
05.05.14 - CTRL ALT DEL Drop The Dub Bomb!
It seems it was just last week (Note: probably because it was actually last week) that we were waffling on about dropping this particular bad boy, and don't ya just know it, the release of CTRL ALT DEL's 'Dance Floors Destroyed' is now upon us. Taking their original 'Destroy All Dance Floors' EP, we've maXXXed this fucker up to the tits. Not only is the EP totally remastered to make it noisier, sexier, and just generally even more awesome than before, but a cavalcade of bonus material in the shape of an array of outstanding remixes that sees CTRL ALT DEL fiddled with by the likes of Ruinizer and System:FX, but it also showcases CTRL ALT DEL's particular mad skillz when it comes to tampering with others, namely Death Valley Scars, Cryogenic Echelon, Defeat and our very own Petrol Bastard. Anyways, it's fucking banging and it's absolutely free to download. What the Hell else do ya need to know? You're welcome.
28.04.14 - CTRL ALT DEL DESTROY!
It's about time that we here at Armalyte sold ourselves out down the E.D.M. route to cater for all the Avicii / Knife Party lovers out there, and what better band to collaborate with than Luton's finest electro-mutants CTRL ALT DEL. 'Dance Floors Destroyed' drops next Monday and is a Gozilla-sized 16 track monster. Expanding their original 'Destroy All Dance Floors' EP, 'Dance Floors Destroyed' sees the original tracks remastered and bolstered with some cracking remixes, including some stunning efforts from the likes of SystemFX and Ruinizer. And that's not all - included in the updated EP are CTRL ALT DEL's remixes for various friends and well-wisehers, including those degenerate Petrol Bastards, Death Valley Scars, Defeat and Cryogenic Echelon.
Whilst you're waiting for 'Dance Floors Destroyed', why not get the down-low on all CTRL ALT DEL's dubs and wubs over at their Bandcamp page, or their facebook page.
01.04.14 - Get Down With The Sickness! Fun Every Friday's FREE ALBUM - 'Heart Puke' - Goes Viral!
Real words will appear here soon, but we're battling with shoddy wi-fi and do not trust the system to hold up long enough for us to type them. Just click the link above, download 'Heart Puke FOR FREE and please spread the word, cos it's fucking awesome. Cheers.
23.03.14 - Fun Every Friday Join The Club!
Gaze upon the latest additions to #TeamArmalyte with a combination of wonderment and fear. Fun Every Friday are a fuzzed-up mess of guitars and digital chaos, escaped from the lunatic minds of electro-zombie crew Flesh Eating Foundation. A massive, dirty mess of distortion and pain, Fun Every Friday's obsession with the more unpalatable things in life would be a massive downer if the tunes weren't so damn massively epic. 'Heart Puke', their debut offering under this particular guise, vomits up 12 tracks of world burning fury, that will be unleashed as a free download on April Fools Day, no less. Which seems about right. In the meantime, check out the vitriolic 'Equinicide' on our Soundcloud page.
01.03.14 - Mother Trucker!
Whats that, kid? You want to go to a club that plays the hardest stomping industrial tunes from Ministry, Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM and Front 242? But you also want to bang your head to the brutal metal riffs of Pantera, Sepultura and Fear Factory? Youre in luck kid, because I know just the place. Get down to MONSTER TRUCK on 21 March, see a couple of awesome bands, drink some beers, hear the best industrial and metal tunes, and bang your head with a nice girl or boy who will dig that whole mutant thing you got going on there. Oh, and if you see your momma, just be sure and tell her - SATAN! SATAN! SATAN! SATAN!
17.02.14 - 'Replacer' By Paresis - Free Download Is Go!
In a bit of an Anti-Valentine's gesture, we present the brand new, and somewhat lethal, single 'Replacer' by Paresis. Much like last month's Jensen offering, 'Replacer' is again totally free to download, and features six blasts of aural intensity - 2 two studio tracks (including a blistering cover of Haddaway's 'What Is Love') and four beautifully chaotic remixes from Digicore, Ruinizer, E.S.A. and M.G.R.X., and it comes with a 100 percent Armalyte Satisfaction Guarantee. Or your money back. You're welcome,
27.01.14 - Jensen's 'Zero One [Redux}' Out Now, For Free Download!
Oh happy days, Jensen's fully remastered and expanded 'Zero One [Redux]' is released today, and is yours for the princely sum of nothing more than your email address. Their video of Duran Duran's 'Wild Boys' has been garnering some great feedback and a load of "Likes" on that thar facebook, and the first wave of reviews from the likes of Soundsphere and Ringmaster Review have been overly complimentary, the former scalling it "Epic, unrestrained and loud...", and the latter expressing that the EP "not only re-confirms and pushes the promise already shown by the band, it makes the anticipation for their full-length debut a rather impatient one." With that in mind, Jensen are already hard at work at their studio, The Hellion Corporation, Leeds, as I type. In the meantime, why not get an earful of 'Zero One [Redux]' by clicking the beautiful cover image above?
16.01.14 - Rock Sound To Premiere Jensen's 'Wild Boys' Video!!
In the run up to the release of Jensen's 'Zero One [Redux]' EP, out Monday 27 January, Rock Sound, the world's greatest music magazine, will be exclusively premiering Jensen's 'Wild Boys' video from Monday 20 January at 2pm. Hosting the video a full week before the release of the fully remastered and expanded version of Jensen's debut EP, which will be available totally free over www.armalyte.com, the 'Wild Boys' promo sees the Leeds-based alt-rockers reinventing this classic 80's anthem in their own powerful, apocalyptic style.
Stay tuned to Rock Sound next Monday to catch this killer video clip before anyone else.
02.01.14 - Introducing... Jensen!
All the way from Leeds, England, we've loved Jensen ever since they were post-emo screamcore band Ourfamous Dead. But that was then and this is now, and they've since discovered a passion for the darker side of life. Led by vocalist Andrew Jensen (vocals/guitar/programming), and joined by Vier Jennings (guitar/bass/synths), Simon Green (guitar/bass/synths) and drummer Robin Speight, Jensen exist in the margins, not quite fitting in anywhere in particular, but kicking out a noise that would make a fantastic soundtrack to a high school massacre, and a close enough approximation to the white noise that continually flickers through our heads. They're young, good looking, and supremely talented, which is a bonus and a half. Earlier this year they released a sleek, though brief, EP called 'Zero One', which was absolutely phenomenal and we couldn't stop listening to it. To celebrate Jensen joining Team Armalyte, we shall be re-releasing the EP in an expanded, remastered style, going under the name of 'Zero One [Redux]' and featuring the original three tracks as well as a cover of Duran Duran's 'Wild Boys' and a sublime remix courtesy of genius maths electronica duo i!. Available to download for absolutely nada on Monday 27th January, there may even be a sleek new promo video to accompany the release. In the meantime, why not check out their ace promo video for 'The Corruptor'?
Find out more over at their website, or their facebook page.
15.11.13 - Digicore's 'You're Not Like Me' Promo Goes Live!
If you love cyborgs then you've come to the right place, as the all-new Digicore promo for their stonking 'You're Not Like Me', is absolutely full of 'em. Taken from their critically acclaimed 'More Than Just An Ape' album, which you can BUY HERE, the album is also available via iTunes, and pretty much every cool tunes are available.
12.08.13 - The Ape Remixes!
To celebrate the general all-round awesomeness of Digicore's killer 'More Than Just An Ape' album, we roped in a load of mates to add their own twist to the monkey madness, creating an 18 track behemoth of a remix album. Without further ado, the usual suspects who have contributed to the simian sickness are: Danny Carnage (Digicore), Paresis, William Riever (Concrete Lung), Jensen, Duncan Wilkinson (ex-Needleye/Collapse), i!, Khaidian, Audio-FX, 2Bit Hero, Audiowar, Neil Hester (ex-L Sol Tace/The Sepia), Petrol Bastard, Ghost In The Static, The Pain Machinery, Systemyk, Yudlugar and Je$us Loves Amerika. Just how sexy is that line-up exactly? The cunningly titled 'More Than More Than Just An Ape' is ONLY available via Dropcard from the Armalyte Webstore, or via the Armalyte Bandcamp page. Embrace the simian sickness!
20.07.13 - Digicore's '...Ape' Teaser Now Online!
Wondering what the new Digicore album may sound like? Well, wonder no more as we've put together this little teaser together for you. The album is amazing and we're very, very proud of it, and our only worry is that the teaser doesn't really do it justice, but hey-ho, such is life. Click HERE to get pre-ordering 'More Than Just An Ape' and blag a snazzy, ultra-limited edition glow in the dark Ape shirt in the process. Sorted.
19.07.13 - Concrete Lung Exclusive UK Show!
Click that gorgeous flyer above to buy some money saving tickets thru us here at Armalyte. Yeah, we just love helping a brother out.
11.07.13 - Digicore 'More Than Just An Ape' Pre-Order With EPIC (And Exclusive) Glow In The Dark Shirt!
With just over a month before it's release, Digicore's 'More Than Just An Ape' goes on pre-order for those that wanna save money and want summat a little different. Our exclusive GLOW IN THE DARK (!!) shirt will certainly make you more than just an ape, and will help friends locate you in the dark. The album is utterly immense, and the reviews we've had back so far have been ace. If you love bands like Enter Shikari, Crossfaith, The Algorithm or even that Skrillex chap, then you really need to own this.
01.07.13 - Petrol Bastard Sign To Armalyte! Fuck!
What's the worst that can happen after a night out on the cider? You get someone pregnant? A hooker gets murdered? If only. If you're us then you only go and sign Leeds' sweariest offspring, Petrol Bastard. The finest Tesco Value Prodigy that money can('t) buy, the 'Bastard have been described variously as "the Chuckle Brothers on bath salts" or a "Goldie Lookin' Beastie Pistols for 2013". They gig hard, they party hard, and they swear hard. If there's a verb they don't suffix with a "hard" then it's not worth doing.
Before the release of their eagerly awaited (by no-one) third album, we're looking at re-issuing their first two albums 'Jihad Trombone' and 'Dripping Gash' as some kind of re-mastered/bonus thingies. Who says you can't polish a turd? In the meantime you can check out the originals, in all their low-def glory, for free, over at their Bandcamp page.

20.05.13 - Concrete Lung 'Subtract Nerve' Pre-Order Goes Live!
It's been a while coming, but finally we can reveal that the new Concrete Lung release, 'Subtract Nerve' will be released on Monday 8th July. Five tracks of undiluted rage and horror, 'Subtract Nerve' is not for the faint-hearted, earning the "Epic Bleakness!" accolade from 'Drum Media', Sydney. Due to the incredibly short timeframe before release, we thought that we would just throw this one out there. Available as a strictly limited edition of 100 copies on vinyl-style gatefold CD ONLY, with no digital release whatsoever, 'Subtract Nerve' is much like staring into the abyss. We have two bundles, the basic CD on it's own, or a CD/shirt combo featuring a brand new, never to be repeated, design, as is the traditional 'Lung way. Hit the image above for the direct link to the 'Subtract Nerve' pre-order page and get clicking.
01.05.13 - Mate, Do You Even Decompress?
From the cool folks behind Dalston's Contortion In Distortion gigs at Power Lunches, comes a brand new magazine dedicated to all things "Underground". The first issue features interviews with cover stars Anaal Nathrakh, Ultraviolence and Jayce Lewis, and the cover CD features exclusive tracks from Digicore and i!, and a latter day classic from K-Nitrate (with a little help from their buddies UCNX). Class! Anyways, don't hang around, there's less than 80 copies left!
22.04.13 - Alt-Fest Latest!
Now seems as good a time as any to update you with the latest news regarding all things Alt-Fest. Having smashed their Kickstarter target by the not-insubstantial sum of £ 30k+ it's full-steam ahead for the UK's newest, and best, Alternative festival as they continue to add bands to the already stellar line-up. As if appearances by pretty much the entire Armalyte family wasn't enough to get you exploding with excitement, already confirmed elsewhere in the line-up are the superb Front 242, KMFDM, Breed 77, Generation Graveyard and far, far more besides. If you failed to take advantage of the mega cheap tickets offered to Kickstarter pledgers then panic ye not, as you can still take advantage of the hella cheap tickets - saving £ 100 - by visiting the Alt-Fest Ticket Store. So, in the immortal words of Gwen Stefani, what you waiting for?
21.04.13 - Petrol Bastard Video Shoot!
Drug-fuelled, Jager-swilling, possibly retarded duo Petrol Bastard will be shooting a video for their riotous 'Shoot The Dog' on Saturday 11th May and they're looking for extras. If you want to achieve immortality (in music video form) then you'll not only need to make your way to Leeds, but you'll also have to learn a few snazzy dance moves as performed in the above video by our dastardly duo and their Petrol Hoers, who may (or may not) be a certain member of the Armalyte family. More info here, but Team Armalyte will be there to document the insanity. Pray for us.
20.04.13 - Digicore's Funky Monkey!
To celebrate the completion of Digicore's new album, 'More Than Just An Ape', we thought we'd give you a freebie in the shape of this blast from Digicore's past, 'The End Of Days' EP. It's brief, it's brutal, it's free. Whilst '...Ape' sees Digicore's signature sound grow immeasurably, this is a great snapshot of the band in their pre-Armalyte, pre-Wubcore days. We're still a way away from releasing '...Ape' but if you keep an eye on Digicore's webcave then you can follow the run up to the album's launch, where Digicore's frontman Danny Carnage deconstructs the chaos behind the scenes from conception through to (metaphorical) birth. It could prove as illuminating for us as well as you, laying bare the thought process, or lack thereof, of how projects come to fruition here at Armalyte HQ.
17.04.13 - Paresis Gig Overload!
We're still not quite sure how he finds the time, but Paresis will be throwing aural napalm at you over the coming months, with a May gig alongside our good mates Ghost In The Static in Maidenhead, and a June gig with Global Citizen and Null White in Middlesbrough. Check flyers for more deets and click the buggers for a link to the revelevant facebook events! See, we do the hard work for you.
31.03.13 - i!pad Goes Live!
Visionary Scottish duo i! have finally completed their latest opus, 'i!pad', and it's available for absolutely nothing - well, apart from an email address. What better way to celebrate the torture and murder of a messiah this Easter weekend? As always, expect the unexpected as the i! boys take you on an eclectic journey through sound. We love it and we hope you do too. We know we said it wass free, and it is, but we would appreciate it greatly if you could spread the word via your Facebook, Twitter or whatever pages as a gesture of goodwill and by way of thanking the band (and Armalyte) for summat this awesome. Yeah, we spoil you. Now go get your i! on and Happy Easter, thanks for listening.
14.03.12 - Paresis Vs. Cortex Defect!
Seemingly the UK's hardest working band, Paresis have somehow found time to contribute a cracking remix to the brand new Cortex Defect EP, 'Scenekiller'. Click the pic for the link to the free EP, and tell 'em we sent ya.
04.03.13 - Alt-Fest Kickstarter Now Live! We've Pledged, Have You?
Your festival! Your scene! Your say! As the list of amazing acts playing this superb festival grows by the day, NOW is the time for YOU to get involved. 04.03.13 - Paresis Vs. CTRL ALT DEL!
Where does he find the time? As if our One Man Army isn't busy enough working on his debut album, remixing some uber-ccol artists (or in Petrol Bastard's case, piss artists), or out walking the dog, Paresis have lined up a show at the Castle Tavern, Luton, supporting CTRL ALT DEL. This should be messy. Throw Saturday 13th April in yer diaries now!
20.02.12 - Paresis Vs. Petrol Bastard!
Unleashed to cash in on the post-Valentine's Day comedown, the North's sweariest sons, Petrol Bastard, have released their latest disasterpiece, 'Remixed And Remastered Vol. 2'. Availble FOR FREE, no less, as the title suggests it's a copious amoount of hastily cobbled together bobbins that features our very own Paresis amongst the talent on offer. Clicky the piccy to download. Did we mention that it's FREE? 'Cos it is. Thank you, come again!
12.02.13 - Armalyte Vs. Alt-Fest!
We've been sitting on this news for a while now, but we're finally able to proudly announce that the Armalyte family will be appearing at next years prestigious Alt-Fest Festival. Appearing live will be Concrete Lung, Je$us Loves Amerika, K-Nitrate, Paresis and Digicore, and mebbe more. Alt-Fest is the UK's biggest, newest and most exciting alternative festival featuring 3 days of live music, art and performance, on September 15th, 16th and 17th August 2014 at a, currently, Top Secret location in the Home Counties. Amongst the headliners are Front 242, Atari Teenage Riot and Fields Of The Nephilim, who have been massively important to us during our formative years and beyond. The concept behind Alt-Fest is wildly ambitious, but if you build it they will come. Super Saving Early Bird tickets go onsale at 9am on Friday 1st March, so watch this space and keep an eye on the Official Alt-Fest site as well as the Alt-Fest Twitter feed for updates and the such like. Whilst you're at it, please, please, please help perpetuate the festival by "liking" the Alt-Fest facebook page and spreading the word wherever possible via word of mouth, your blogs, podcasts and facebook pages. It's going to be wild... Peace. Love. Unity. Whatever! We're living the dream.
08.02.13 - Lung Go Down Under!
Concrete Lung have announced their first ever gig on Australian soil, a headline show with support from Unknown To God, Thrashomatic, and a band with a frankly unintelligable logo. For all we know they could be called Dr Ass And The Bum Gravy. But they're probably not. Having checked the Facebook page, apprently they've called Stove Tattoo. Our bad. Click the pretty flyer above for more deets.
25.01.13 - Paresis Hit London!
No, not literally. Duh! Paresis return to London, supporting Newcastle hybrid monsters TOOMS and industrial goth ravers PRETTY ADDICTED. It's put together by the sexy folk at Unrepresented Music as part of their Contortion in Distortion events. It's a Fiver on the door so you have no excuse. More details on the flyer which should be fairly self-evident. If not then there's really no hope for you.
26.12.12 - Null White Vs. Paresis!
Our very own Paresis have contributed searing vocals to the latest Null White single, 'Last Line Of Defence'. Four tracks of serious cyber dance mayhem, the single comes complete with remixes from Uberbyte and Ultraviolence. We've heard it, it's ace, so what are you waiting for. Click the pic for that all important link.
25.12.12 - A Christmas Gift From Digicore!
Piss on earth and good will to men, what better way to celebrate Christmas 2012 than with an absolutely monstrous remix of Digicore's 'Tear It Up' by the immensely talented Rob Dust and Pharmaboy. It's taken from Digicore's forthcoming 'Without Freedom' remix album which will come bundled with their new album. Whilst details on the new album remain somewhat sketchy, we can tell you that the remix album features contributions from Petrol Bastard, Drugzilla, UCNX and more. We've heard it, it is awesome. Anyways, this killer download is available for absolutely nada to one and all (by clicking the pretty picture above), so please feel free to spread the word via the Arsebooks, the Twitters, the Tumblrs or whatever. Happy freakin' Holidays everybody!
10.10.12 - Hydra And i! Join Team Armalyte!
Big news day as we welcome both Hydra and i! to the Armalyte family.
Described by cult Punk label Profane Existence as "The best band who have ever existed", Hydra's extreme brand of anarcho-noise seeks to simultaneously educate and annihilate and are the loudest band we have ever seen. Says frontman Nick: "We are working on a new LP in a undisclosed location. No one outside the band will hear any of the tracks until the release date, and even the title is a closely guarded secret."
Unpredictable, avant-garde, future-shock duo i! join us following a slew of superb, self-released EPs (available for free via their Bandcamp page). i! kick out a noise they describe as "organic, symptomatic, biomechanical music", and who are we to argue? i! will be kicking out the jams alongside Je$us Loves Amerika at the Alba Underground fest in early November, so see below for more Alba info...
01.10.12 - Je$us Loves Amerika Headline New Scottish Alt. Festival!
To celebrate the hot-off-the presses freshness of their new 'Breathe' EP, JLA headline the inaugral Alba Underground festival on 2/3 November at the ace Classic Grand in Glasgow. Also playing are the upcoming Scot-talent as i!, Analog Angel, Nightmare Frequency, Metaltech and more. Click the flyer for a link to the Facebook page for all the details, but Team Armalyte will be present and in full effect. Lock up your farmyard animals, Glasgow...

Friday 28th September is the date for your diary, and the doors open at 6, sharp. Be there or miss what is destined to be THE gig of the year.
15.07.12 - Paresis - 'Last Shadow' EP Gets Release Date!
It's been a long time coming but we can finally (and happily) announce that the stonkingly awesome Paresis debut EP, 'Last Shadow' will be shat out unto the world on Monday 3rd September. A glorious celebration of big beats and fat riffs, it's three brand new tracks and five remixes by an all-star cast of alt. scene talent. Who, exactly, we'll let you know as and when, but we can confidently tell you that they each bring a radically different take on the Paresis originals, none of that dumbed-down 4/4 shit that far too many bands roll out far too often. The pre-order will go live soon and everyone that pre-orders direct from us will get an exclusive summat extra in the shape of the download-only companion EP, 'Lost Shadows'. As before, more details to follow, but it's all in the name of saying "Thank You" for supporting all things Armalyte and Paresis. Anyways, the trailer for 'Last Shadow' is now live so go grab a cheeky listen at what you can expect to hear shortly.

There's also a snazzy new 'Die Dreaming' shirt, pictured a couple of entries below, so you too can make a pulic declaration of your love of The 'Lung. Looks good, eh? As always, many, many thanks for supporting all things Armalyte...
10.03.12 - 'Die Dreaming' Release Party.
As we barrel towards the official launch date for Concrete Lung's incendiary new single, 'Die Dreaming', out exclusively on sexy marbled green vinyl on 16th April, we're happy to announce a London gig to celebrate this momentous event. Concrete Lung will be playing alongside Machine Rox, who themselves will be celebrating the launch of their new EP, our very own Paresis and Spawn Of Psychosis. Tickets are only £5 AND include free entry to Slimelight post-gig. It's gonna be a good 'un.
10.03.12 - Do You Want To Play Pong?
Paresis are fast laying claim to be Armalyte's hardest gigging band at the moment, and continue the trend with a support slot with German industrialists Eisenfunk. Tickets are officially £10 in advance but get in touch with us direct and you can grab 'em at a discount AND we'll throw in a FREE Armalyte CD (of our choosing, natch). Can't say we're not good to ya, eh?
17.01.12 - New 'Lung For The New Year.
It feels like it's been a while coming but we can finally reveal more details on the forthcoming Concrete Lung vinyl due to hit some time in March/April. It will feature two brand new and exclusive tracks; 'Die Dreaming' and 'Communal Slave' and will be available on strictly limited edition 7" vinyl. Each vinyl comes with the link to a high quality mp3 of the tracks, a nifty insert and is hand-numbered to just 250 copies.
13.01.12 - Keeping Busy The K-Nitrate Way.
And so we welcome in the new year with some groovy K-Nitrate news. First up, our dynamic duo have been confirmed for the forthcoming Dark7 Festival, playing alongside Deviant UK, Kommand+Kontrol and Machine Rox amongst others. Tickets are but a bargainous tenner in advance (more on the door, obviously) and are available from Ticketweb. Check out the flyer above for more info. In other 'Nitrate News, the chaps over at Release Magazine have got their reviewing hats on and tackled 'Stark Punkt' in their own inimitable way, so big thanks to them.
25.12.11 - Happy F'kin Christmas!
So, it's that time of year to drink, make merry and spend time with loved ones. In keeping with the spirit of the season it's only right that we take pause to spare a thought for everyone that has made our 2011 so damn fantastic. We released some superb CDs, toured the UK on the Incineratour, we made it as far as Sweden and met some ace new folk, and caught up with some groovy folk from our murky past, along the way; Kev & Louise in Newcastle, Mike Riot in P'boro, Barry at the Classic Grand in Glasgow and Mak at Slimelight, London. Dave Brockie of Gwar, Jeff Scheel of Gravity Kills, Jamie Baker of Officers, Phil Barry of Be My Enemy, Raymond Watts of PIG, Gary Robertson of i!, Micke and Mattias from Complete Control Productions and Anders from The Pain Machinery All have provided either support, inspiration, encouragement or a combination of the three. All would be for nought however without the support and friendship of Armalyte's extended post-nuclear family - Concrete Lung, Digicore, Je$us Loves Amerika, K-Nitrate and Paresis - without whom we would be nothing but a hollow shell of broken dreams. Also, a massive shout out goes to all the fans and folks that have put their money where their ears are and have supported the bands by either buying the music or rolling up to the gigs. Without you we would crash and burn faster than you could say, well, crash and burn, I guess. Various press bods also deserve an honourable mention in the shape of: Breda at Zillo, Dom at Soundsphere, Rob at DSO, Adam at AModelOfControl, Louise and Darren at Terrorizer, Merlin at Metal Hammer and Kevin Stewart-Panko at Rock Sound, cheers to y'all. Here's to a storming 2012!
10.12.11 - Je$us Loves Amerika's 'FYA' EP Out Now!
Released to coincide with JLA's storming support slot with the mighty Front 242 in Glasgow, we can finally spill the beans on all things 'FYA'. So whaddya wanna know? Limited to just 100 hand-numbered (by the band no less) copies and coming in a snazzy, eco-friendly recycled card wallet. 'FYA' is 4 tracks/20 odd minutes long and the title track has been produced/mixed by Phil Barry of Be My Enemy/Cubanate fame, and sounds suitably immense. Mastering is by the 2Bit Hero himself, Jules Seifert, who was last seen doing a blinding job for us when he mastered Digicore's 'Without Freedom' album. Anyways, we anticipate that these discs are gonna move fast so get your orders in quick as availability will be questionable after this weekend. And if you're really nice then we might even get the boys to sign a few copies too.

19.11.11 - New Je$us Loves Amerika And CONCRETE LUNG Incoming!
Two new releases incoming? WTF? Yeah, we know, just what the hell is going on, eh? First up is a low key, under the radar, release courtesy of Je$us Loves Amerika. Four tracks, 20 minutes long and limited to just 100 copies, it's a precurser to a couple of offical releases next year including an EP and a brand new album. It's only been 10-odd years since their 'Advanced Burial Technology' debut, but who's counting? Back to the here and now, this brand new single will be released just in time for JLA's show with the mighty Front 242 on Saturday 10th December. Cool, eh?
Elsewhere, tentative details are emerging about the next chapter in the CONCRETE LUNG story; A first for us here at Armalyte, it's gonna be a two track mini-monster on, wait for it... 7" vinyl. Limited to just 250 hand-numbered copies, each vinyl will come with a unique code to access hi-quality mp3s, these brand new, exclusive tracks will not be made available anywhere else or featured on any future CONCRETE LUNG releases. Release date is TBC but we're hoping for early 2012, but don't quote us on that. As always, more info as and when...
11.11.11 - What Are Record Labels Good For, Anyways?
Hell, like we'd know. The kindly folks over at Collapse Board were nice enough to ask us some questions and we took time out of our busy schedule (ie: eating McNuggets and playing Xbox) to pen a response. The article concerns itself with just what exactly indie labels bring to the table when it comes to perpetuating the music we (and hopefully you) love. Drop by and show 'em some love.
Peek behind our Wizard's curtain (Oo-er!) here: Collapse Board
06.11.11 - K-Nitrate Support Machine Rox At Slimes!
Celebrate the Festive season by dancing your ass off to K-Nitrate as they support the groovy Machine Rox at their inaugral Cyber Attack Night. K-Nitrate may very well be rocking a new look. Or not. It's all specualtive at the moment so take everything we say with a pinch of pixie dust. In the meantime, why not click the flyer above for a link to the Facebook page thingy.
31.10.11 - Remember, Remember, Some Gigs In November!
It's all kicking off next month as Digicore headline Stereo in York alongside local punk legends The Vexed and our very own Paresis, and Paresis manage to get themselves even further North to support the mighty Aesthetic Perfection. See the flyers for more deets or drop us a line. Or don't. You decide.
24.09.11 - Paresis Overdose!
If you didn't think we fired you enough Paresis-related monkeyshines yesterday then happy days as we've just heard that they're playing The Met Lounge, Peterborough, on Friday 14th October, alongside Let's Meet Jesus and In Archives.
More information: Met Lounge
23.09.11 - Introducing... Paresis!
In keeping with our abnormally high work ethic of late, we can happily reveal that the latest addition to Team Armalyte is Paresis, a one man noise unit who we discovered when INCINERATOUR rolled thru Peterborough earlier in the year. Blown away by their expansive sound and their hunger to do something a little differently to every other band out there, Paresis made quite an impression. Currently hard at work on their debut EP with production team Hateswitch Inc. (Concrete Lung / Needleye), Paresis will be getting into the spirit of things by supporting Goteki in London on 21.10.11 and the mighty Aesthetic Perfection in Newcastle on 22.10.11. More info over on our gigs page. In the meantime, check 'em out and show Paresis some love...
More information: Paresis
23.09.11 - Wired For Sound(Cloud)!
Being a kinda record label, we thought it'd be kinda cool, and somewhat sensible, to let you actually hear some of the noise we spew out on a semi-irregular basis. We've finally found a suitable platform in Soundcloud that not only all the cool kids like, but that actually appears to do what we want it to do and with minimal fuss. The plan is to use it to drip feed you rare remixes, demos, release teasers and whatever else we stumble acrross in the vaults. Up now is an extended trailer for K-Nitrate's 'Stark Punkt', a teaser of the new Paresis EP, a couple of vintage Concrete Lung recordings and a stonking Digicore remix of a track for our mates in Be My Enemy. So yeah, cool shit all round, generally.

30.08.11 - Je$us Loves $weden!
News just in, Je$us Loves Amerika will be headlining Alternight in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday 10th September. Anders from The Pain Machinery will be DJing alongside Ronny (Clan Of Xymox) Moorings, so it should make for an incredible evening. For more info hit up the facebook page or summat.

07.09.11 - K-Nitrate's 'Stark Punkt' Out Now!
The new "Is it an EP, is it an album?" from UK Industrial Techno legends K-Nitrate is available now. 'Stark Punkt' is a kinda remix companion to last years electrifying 'Voltage' album. We'll be celebrating the release with an exclusive K-Nitrate gig at Slimelight on Saturday 15th October. More details over on the Gigs page, in the meantime, you know what to do...

20.08.11 - Gigs? We got 'em...
They may spend most of their time squirrelled away in the studio, but occasionally some of the artists here at Team Armalyte actually play gigs. Incoming we have CONCRETE LUNG playing a special set at the infamous (and a bit rude) Club Antichrist. Obviously we approve. Elsewhere, K-Nitrate will be celebrating the imminent release of their killer 'Stark Punkt' EP with a one-off show at Slimelight and Je$us Loves Amerika will be tearing it up alongside the one and only FRONT 24(fuckin')2 in Glasgow. Seriously, we are not worthy, Dude...

19.07.11 - Build It And They Will Come...
It's been a while coming but we've finally unleashed the all-new Armalyte dot com. We've been stuffing Special K down the original site's throat like some crazed digital foie gras and can now reveal it's sleek new curves to the world. Designed by the beautiful Christian of Weber, doubtless there'll be some initial hiccups where I do my best to rape his code and ruin all his hard work, but stick with us, we'll get through it together. Now it may appear that we've been awfully quiet since the INCINERATOUR but that's more because we're the shy, understated type. Behind the scenes there's been a load going on including two (count 'em) bands joining Team Armalyte (much more info to follow...) and work continuing apace on new releases from CONCRETE LUNG, Digicore and Je$us Loves Amerika. So yeah, Armalyte: Not dead, just power-napping.

08.06.11 - Just One FiXt!
So, INCINERATOUR has been and gone and we're left with nought but good memories, bad hangovers and a copy of Razzle Extreme. Still, we had fun didn't we. Didn't we? We think so. In the spirit of getting back into it, whatever it may be, we've only gone and organised some form of U.S. ditribution with those sexy FiXt folk, home of Celldweller and some other bands. We don't know, since when do we listen to industrial??? They're now stocking the ever so sexy new albums from Digicore and Concrete Lung and, in a world exclusive (Hallelujah!) they are the exclusive (we did mention it was exclusive, yeah?) digital distributor for haloblack's 'throb.', one of our fave Armalyte releases ever. As you all, probably, know, haloblack became XLOVER who became MOTOR who know tour the world with Depeche Mode and Gary Numan, so now we are officially "people who know people". +10 cool points for us, eh? Anyway, we've completely digressed, what the funk were we yapping about? Oh, yeah, the United States of Armalyte... We've gone Amerikan. It's a big, scary, amazing place and it's now easier than ever to purchase your favourite Armalyte tunes direct from them if you're that way inclined. Jump to it, soldier!

28.02.11 - Digicore - 'Without Freedom' Out Now!
"Without freedom we will fall!" warn York noise-niks Digicore, and they've got a point. 11 tracks (and 2 remixes) of defiant, punishing alt.metal that combines gabber blasts with drum'n'bass to viscious, vital effect, the time is right for Digicore to make their mark on the world. Most of the reviews so far have been killer, and it's fair to say that we love 'em. Hopefully you will too.
