Digicore Sign To Armalyte

We're pleased to announce that York's noisiest sons, Digicore, have been welcomed into our postnuclear family. An ear-destroying, mind-melting explosion of future metal, digital hardore, punk mayhem and drum'n'bass overload, Digicore are just so goddam awesome that they're causing our hyperbole machine to go into overdrive.
The low-down? Four kids from York, Danny Carnage (vocals, synths, programming), S-73 (guitar), 512MB (bass) and Cell (drums). It goes without saying that these aren't the band's real names but, much like The A-Team, they're wanted for crimes they didn't commit. We should stress that we're not referring to crimes against music.
They sound like Atari Teenage Riot bumming Pitchshifter, or Trent Reznor giving Rabbit Junk a hand job. Not a pleasant sight, for sure, but the resultant noise is easily worth that foul metaphor. We hope. For a FREE taste of their aural mayhem swing by here to download their superb 'End Of Days EP' our drop by our MySpaz.
The album, entitled 'Without Freedom', will be unleashed on Monday 28th February 2011, but in the meantime Digicore are currently featured on three top compilations - Soundsphere's 'Things To Come Vol. 1', Yob Goth's 'This Is Industrial Punk Vol. 2' and Structural Damage's 'Compilation 2'
And despite being hard at work putting the finishing touches to the album, they've also managed to confirm the following gigs:
Saturday 2nd October - Stereo (York)
Saturday 23rd October - Eiger Studios (Leeds)
Saturday 6th November - Amalgamation Festival (Leeds)
with many more to follow. In the meantime, watch this space...

'Soundsphere Presents: Things To Come' Limited Edition Compilation OUT NOW!

Our latest spangly release is in partnership with those groovy folk over at Soundsphere WebZine. Focussing on the North of England's vibrant industrial scene, it's a veritable Who's Who of alt. culture. Uberbyte face-off against Concrete Lung whilst Digicore go toe-to-toe with A-FX. Also battling for supremacy are Death By Electro Giants, Derkoi, Kik, Testtone3, Zeitgeist Zero and Sevendaysofnight. Who wins? Well, at only £3.50 a copy, you, the punter, do. 10 killer bands, 10 knockout musical punches. Lovingly compiled by Soundsphere's editor, Dom Smith, his original vision was "To feature the darker bands that helped us get started. This is a homage to the Webzine's early days and a stomping introduction to some of the great bands we have on offer in the North...".
