Welcome to Armalyte Industries

01.05.13 - Mate, Do You Even Decompress?

From the cool folks behind Dalston's Contortion In Distortion gigs at Power Lunches, comes a brand new magazine dedicated to all things "Underground". The first issue features interviews with cover stars Anaal Nathrakh, Ultraviolence and Jayce Lewis, and the cover CD features exclusive tracks from Digicore and i!, and a latter day classic from K-Nitrate (with a little help from their buddies UCNX). Class! Anyways, don't hang around, there's less than 80 copies left!

22.04.13 - Alt-Fest Latest!

Now seems as good a time as any to update you with the latest news regarding all things Alt-Fest. Having smashed their Kickstarter target by the not-insubstantial sum of £ 30k+ it's full-steam ahead for the UK's newest, and best, Alternative festival as they continue to add bands to the already stellar line-up. As if appearances by pretty much the entire Armalyte family wasn't enough to get you exploding with excitement, already confirmed elsewhere in the line-up are the superb Front 242, KMFDM, Breed 77, Generation Graveyard and far, far more besides. If you failed to take advantage of the mega cheap tickets offered to Kickstarter pledgers then panic ye not, as you can still take advantage of the hella cheap tickets - saving £ 100 - by visiting the on Alt-Fest Ticket Store. So, in the immortal words of Gwen Stefani, what you waiting for?

21.04.13 - Petrol Bastard Video Shoot!

Drug-fuelled, Jager-swilling, possibly retarded duo Petrol Bastard will be shooting a video for their riotous 'Shoot The Dog' on Saturday 11th May and they're looking for extras. If you want to achieve immortality (in music video form) then you'll not only need to make your way to Leeds, but you'll also have to learn a few snazzy dance moves as performed in the above video by our dastardly duo and their Petrol Hoers, who may (or may not) be a certain member of the Armalyte family. More info here, but Team Armalyte will be there to document the insanity. Pray for us.

---

20.04.13 - Digicore's Funky Monkey!

To celebrate the completion of Digicore's new album, 'More Than Just An Ape', we thought we'd give you a freebie in the shape of this blast from Digicore's past, 'The End Of Days' EP. It's brief, it's brutal, it's free. Whilst '...Ape' sees Digicore's signature sound grow immeasurably, this is a great snapshot of the band in their pre-Armalyte, pre-Wubcore days. We're still a way away from releasing '...Ape' but if you keep an eye on Digicore's webcave then you can follow the run up to the album's launch, where Digicore's frontman Danny Carnage deconstructs the chaos behind the scenes from conception through to (metaphorical) birth. It could prove as illuminating for us as well as you, laying bare the thought process, or lack thereof, of how projects come to fruition here at Armalyte HQ.

---

17.04.13 - Paresis Gig Overload!

We're still not quite sure how he finds the time, but Paresis will be throwing aural napalm at you over the coming months, with a May gig alongside our good mates Ghost In The Static in Maidenhead, and a June gig with Global Citizen and Null White in Middlesbrough. Check flyers for more deets and click the buggers for a link to the revelevant facebook events! See, we do the hard work for you.

---

31.03.12 - i!pad Goes Live!

Visionary Scottish duo i! have finally completed their latest opus, 'i!pad', and it's available for absolutely nothing - well, apart from an email address. What better way to celebrate the torture and murder of a messiah this Easter weekend? As always, expect the unexpected as the i! boys take you on an eclectic journey through sound. We love it and we hope you do too. We know we said it wass free, and it is, but we would appreciate it greatly if you could spread the word via your Facebook, Twitter or whatever pages as a gesture of goodwill and by way of thanking the band (and Armalyte) for summat this awesome. Yeah, we spoil you. Now go get your i! on and Happy Easter, thanks for listening.

---

14.03.12 - Paresis Vs. Cortex Defect!

Seemingly the UK's hardest working band, Paresis have somehow found time to contribute a cracking remix to the brand new Cortex Defect EP, 'Scenekiller'. Click the pic for the link to the free EP, and tell 'em we sent ya.

Still plenty of time to get involved if you haven't already too, so get pledging, and please keep spreading the word. Word!

---

04.03.13 - Paresis Vs. CTRL ALT DEL!

Where does he find the time? As if our One Man Army isn't busy enough working on his debut album, remixing some uber-ccol artists (or in Petrol Bastard's case, piss artists), or out walking the dog, Paresis have lined up a show at the Castle Tavern, Luton, supporting CTRL ALT DEL. This should be messy. Throw Saturday 13th April in yer diaries now!

---

20.02.12 - Paresis Vs. Petrol Bastard!

Unleashed to cash in on the post-Valentine's Day comedown, the North's sweariest sons, Petrol Bastard, have released their latest disasterpiece, 'Remixed And Remastered Vol. 2'. Availble FOR FREE, no less, as the title suggests it's a copious amoount of hastily cobbled together bobbins that features our very own Paresis amongst the talent on offer. Clicky the piccy to download. Did we mention that it's FREE? 'Cos it is. Thank you, come again!

---

12.02.13 - Armalyte Vs. Alt-Fest!

We've been sitting on this news for a while now, but we're finally able to proudly announce that the Armalyte family will be appearing at next years prestigious Alt-Fest Festival. Appearing live will be Concrete Lung, Je$us Loves Amerika, K-Nitrate, Paresis and Digicore, and mebbe more. Alt-Fest is the UK's biggest, newest and most exciting alternative festival featuring 3 days of live music, art and performance, on September 15th, 16th and 17th August 2014 at a, currently, Top Secret location in the Home Counties. Amongst the headliners are Front 242, Atari Teenage Riot and Fields Of The Nephilim, who have been massively important to us during our formative years and beyond. The concept behind Alt-Fest is wildly ambitious, but if you build it they will come. Super Saving Early Bird tickets go onsale at 9am on Friday 1st March, so watch this space and keep an eye on the Official Alt-Fest site as well as the Alt-Fest Twitter feed for updates and the such like. Whilst you're at it, please, please, please help perpetuate the festival by "liking" the Alt-Fest facebook page and spreading the word wherever possible via word of mouth, your blogs, podcasts and facebook pages. It's going to be wild... Peace. Love. Unity. Whatever! We're living the dream.

---

08.02.13 - Lung Go Down Under!

Concrete Lung have announced their first ever gig on Australian soil, a headline show with support from Unknown To God, Thrashomatic, and a band with a frankly unintelligable logo. For all we know they could be called Dr Ass And The Bum Gravy. But they're probably not. Having checked the Facebook page, apprently they've called Stove Tattoo. Our bad. Click the pretty flyer above for more deets.

---

25.01.13 - Paresis Hit London!

No, not literally. Duh! Paresis return to London, supporting Newcastle hybrid monsters TOOMS and industrial goth ravers PRETTY ADDICTED. It's put together by the sexy folk at Unrepresented Music as part of their Contortion in Distortion events. It's a Fiver on the door so you have no excuse. More details on the flyer which should be fairly self-evident. If not then there's really no hope for you.

---

26.12.12 - Null White Vs. Paresis!

Our very own Paresis have contributed searing vocals to the latest Null White single, 'Last Line Of Defence'. Four tracks of serious cyber dance mayhem, the single comes complete with remixes from Uberbyte and Ultraviolence. We've heard it, it's ace, so what are you waiting for. Click the pic for that all important link.

---

25.12.12 - A Christmas Gift From Digicore!

Piss on earth and good will to men, what better way to celebrate Christmas 2012 than with an absolutely monstrous remix of Digicore's 'Tear It Up' by the immensely talented Rob Dust and Pharmaboy. It's taken from Digicore's forthcoming 'Without Freedom' remix album which will come bundled with their new album. Whilst details on the new album remain somewhat sketchy, we can tell you that the remix album features contributions from Petrol Bastard, Drugzilla, UCNX and more. We've heard it, it is awesome. Anyways, this killer download is available for absolutely nada to one and all (by clicking the pretty picture above), so please feel free to spread the word via the Arsebooks, the Twitters, the Tumblrs or whatever. Happy freakin' Holidays everybody!

---

10.10.12 - Hydra And i! Join Team Armalyte!

Big news day as we welcome both Hydra and i! to the Armalyte family.

Described by cult Punk label Profane Existence as "The best band who have ever existed", Hydra's extreme brand of anarcho-noise seeks to simultaneously educate and annihilate and are the loudest band we have ever seen. Says frontman Nick: "We are working on a new LP in a undisclosed location. No one outside the band will hear any of the tracks until the release date, and even the title is a closely guarded secret."

Unpredictable, avant-garde, future-shock duo i! join us following a slew of superb, self-released EPs (available for free via their Bandcamp page). i! kick out a noise they describe as "organic, symptomatic, biomechanical music", and who are we to argue? i! will be kicking out the jams alongside Je$us Loves Amerika at the Alba Underground fest in early November, so see below for more Alba info...

---

01.10.12 - Je$us Loves Amerika Headline New Scottish Alt. Festival!

To celebrate the hot-off-the presses freshness of their new 'Breathe' EP, JLA headline the inaugral Alba Underground festival on 2/3 November at the ace Classic Grand in Glasgow. Also playing are the upcoming Scot-talent as i!, Analog Angel, Nightmare Frequency, Metaltech and more. Click the flyer for a link to the Facebook page for all the details, but Team Armalyte will be present and in full effect. Lock up your farmyard animals, Glasgow...

Friday 28th September is the date for your diary, and the doors open at 6, sharp. Be there or miss what is destined to be THE gig of the year.

15.07.12 - Paresis - 'Last Shadow' EP Gets Release Date!

It's been a long time coming but we can finally (and happily) announce that the stonkingly awesome Paresis debut EP, 'Last Shadow' will be shat out unto the world on Monday 3rd September. A glorious celebration of big beats and fat riffs, it's three brand new tracks and five remixes by an all-star cast of alt. scene talent. Who, exactly, we'll let you know as and when, but we can confidently tell you that they each bring a radically different take on the Paresis originals, none of that dumbed-down 4/4 shit that far too many bands roll out far too often. The pre-order will go live soon and everyone that pre-orders direct from us will get an exclusive summat extra in the shape of the download-only companion EP, 'Lost Shadows'. As before, more details to follow, but it's all in the name of saying "Thank You" for supporting all things Armalyte and Paresis. There's also a snazzy new 'Die Dreaming' shirt, pictured a couple of entries below, so you too can make a pulic declaration of your love of The 'Lung. Looks good, eh? As always, many, many thanks for supporting all things Armalyte...

---

10.03.12 - 'Die Dreaming' Release Party.

As we barrel towards the official launch date for Concrete Lung's incendiary new single, 'Die Dreaming', out exclusively on sexy marbled green vinyl on 16th April, we're happy to announce a London gig to celebrate this momentous event. Concrete Lung will be playing alongside Machine Rox, who themselves will be celebrating the launch of their new EP, our very own Paresis and Spawn Of Psychosis. Tickets are only £5 AND include free entry to Slimelight post-gig. It's gonna be a good 'un.

---

10.03.12 - Do You Want To Play Pong?

Paresis are fast laying claim to be Armalyte's hardest gigging band at the moment, and continue the trend with a support slot with German industrialists Eisenfunk. Tickets are officially £10 in advance but get in touch with us direct and you can grab 'em at a discount AND we'll throw in a FREE Armalyte CD (of our choosing, natch). Can't say we're not good to ya, eh?

25.12.11 - Happy F'kin Christmas!

So, it's that time of year to drink, make merry and spend time with loved ones. In keeping with the spirit of the season it's only right that we take pause to spare a thought for everyone that has made our 2011 so damn fantastic. We released some superb CDs, toured the UK on the Incineratour, we made it as far as Sweden and met some ace new folk, and caught up with some groovy folk from our murky past, along the way; Kev & Louise in Newcastle, Mike Riot in P'boro, Barry at the Classic Grand in Glasgow and Mak at Slimelight, London. Dave Brockie of Gwar, Jeff Scheel of Gravity Kills, Jamie Baker of Officers, Phil Barry of Be My Enemy, Raymond Watts of PIG, Gary Robertson of i!, Micke and Mattias from Complete Control Productions and Anders from The Pain Machinery All have provided either support, inspiration, encouragement or a combination of the three. All would be for nought however without the support and friendship of Armalyte's extended post-nuclear family - Concrete Lung, Digicore, Je$us Loves Amerika, K-Nitrate and Paresis - without whom we would be nothing but a hollow shell of broken dreams. Also, a massive shout out goes to all the fans and folks that have put their money where their ears are and have supported the bands by either buying the music or rolling up to the gigs. Without you we would crash and burn faster than you could say, well, crash and burn, I guess. Various press bods also deserve an honourable mention in the shape of: Breda at Zillo, Dom at Soundsphere, Rob at DSO, Adam at AModelOfControl, Louise and Darren at Terrorizer, Merlin at Metal Hammer and Kevin Stewart-Panko at Rock Sound, cheers to y'all. Here's to a storming 2012!

---

10.12.11 - Je$us Loves Amerika's 'FYA' EP Out Now!

Released to coincide with JLA's storming support slot with the mighty Front 242 in Glasgow, we can finally spill the beans on all things 'FYA'. So whaddya wanna know? Limited to just 100 hand-numbered (by the band no less) copies and coming in a snazzy, eco-friendly recycled card wallet. 'FYA' is 4 tracks/20 odd minutes long and the title track has been produced/mixed by Phil Barry of Be My Enemy/Cubanate fame, and sounds suitably immense. Mastering is by the 2Bit Hero himself, Jules Seifert, who was last seen doing a blinding job for us when he mastered Digicore's 'Without Freedom' album. Anyways, we anticipate that these discs are gonna move fast so get your orders in quick as availability will be questionable after this weekend. And if you're really nice then we might even get the boys to sign a few copies too.

19.11.11 - New Je$us Loves Amerika And CONCRETE LUNG Incoming!

Two new releases incoming? WTF? Yeah, we know, just what the hell is going on, eh? First up is a low key, under the radar, release courtesy of Je$us Loves Amerika. Four tracks, 20 minutes long and limited to just 100 copies, it's a precurser to a couple of offical releases next year including an EP and a brand new album. It's only been 10-odd years since their 'Advanced Burial Technology' debut, but who's counting? Back to the here and now, this brand new single will be released just in time for JLA's show with the mighty Front 242 on Saturday 10th December. Cool, eh?

Elsewhere, tentative details are emerging about the next chapter in the CONCRETE LUNG story; A first for us here at Armalyte, it's gonna be a two track mini-monster on, wait for it... 7" vinyl. Limited to just 250 hand-numbered copies, each vinyl will come with a unique code to access hi-quality mp3s, these brand new, exclusive tracks will not be made available anywhere else or featured on any future CONCRETE LUNG releases. Release date is TBC but we're hoping for early 2012, but don't quote us on that. As always, more info as and when...

---

11.11.11 - What Are Record Labels Good For, Anyways?

Hell, like we'd know. The kindly folks over at Collapse Board were nice enough to ask us some questions and we took time out of our busy schedule (ie: eating McNuggets and playing Xbox) to pen a response. The article concerns itself with just what exactly indie labels bring to the table when it comes to perpetuating the music we (and hopefully you) love. Drop by and show 'em some love.

06.11.11 - K-Nitrate Support Machine Rox At Slimes!

Celebrate the Festive season by dancing your ass off to K-Nitrate as they support the groovy Machine Rox at their inaugral Cyber Attack Night. K-Nitrate may very well be rocking a new look. Or not. It's all specualtive at the moment so take everything we say with a pinch of pixie dust. In the meantime, why not click the flyer above for a link to the Facebook page thingy.

---

31.10.11 - Remember, Remember, Some Gigs In November!

It's all kicking off next month as Digicore headline Stereo in York alongside local punk legends The Vexed and our very own Paresis, and Paresis manage to get themselves even further North to support the mighty Aesthetic Perfection. See the flyers for more deets or drop us a line. Or don't. You decide.

---

24.09.11 - Paresis Overdose!

If you didn't think we fired you enough Paresis-related monkeyshines yesterday then happy days as we've just heard that they're playing The Met Lounge, Peterborough, on Friday 14th October, alongside Let's Meet Jesus and In Archives.

23.09.11 - Introducing... Paresis!

In keeping with our abnormally high work ethic of late, we can happily reveal that the latest addition to Team Armalyte is Paresis, a one man noise unit who we discovered when INCINERATOUR rolled thru Peterborough earlier in the year. Blown away by their expansive sound and their hunger to do something a little differently to every other band out there, Paresis made quite an impression. Currently hard at work on their debut EP with production team Hateswitch Inc. (Concrete Lung / Needleye), Paresis will be getting into the spirit of things by supporting Goteki in London on 21.10.11 and the mighty Aesthetic Perfection in Newcastle on 22.10.11. More info over on our gigs page. In the meantime, check 'em out and show Paresis some love...

---

23.09.11 - Wired For Sound(Cloud)!

Being a kinda record label, we thought it'd be kinda cool, and somewhat sensible, to let you actually hear some of the noise we spew out on a semi-irregular basis. We've finally found a suitable platform in Soundcloud that not only all the cool kids like, but that actually appears to do what we want it to do and with minimal fuss. The plan is to use it to drip feed you rare remixes, demos, release teasers and whatever else we stumble acrross in the vaults. Up now is an extended trailer for K-Nitrate's 'Stark Punkt', a teaser of the new Paresis EP, a couple of vintage Concrete Lung recordings and a stonking Digicore remix of a track for our mates in Be My Enemy. So yeah, cool shit all round, generally.

30.08.11 - Je$us Loves $weden!

News just in, Je$us Loves Amerika will be headlining Alternight in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday 10th September. Anders from The Pain Machinery will be DJing alongside Ronny (Clan Of Xymox) Moorings, so it should make for an incredible evening. For more info hit up the facebook page or summat.

07.09.11 - K-Nitrate's 'Stark Punkt' Out Now!

The new "Is it an EP, is it an album?" from UK Industrial Techno legends K-Nitrate is available now. 'Stark Punkt' is a kinda remix companion to last years electrifying 'Voltage' album. We'll be celebrating the release with an exclusive K-Nitrate gig at Slimelight on Saturday 15th October. More details over on the Gigs page, in the meantime, you know what to do...

20.08.11 - Gigs? We got 'em...

They may spend most of their time squirrelled away in the studio, but occasionally some of the artists here at Team Armalyte actually play gigs. Incoming we have CONCRETE LUNG playing a special set at the infamous (and a bit rude) Club Antichrist. Obviously we approve. Elsewhere, K-Nitrate will be celebrating the imminent release of their killer 'Stark Punkt' EP with a one-off show at Slimelight and Je$us Loves Amerika will be tearing it up alongside the one and only FRONT 24(fuckin')2 in Glasgow. Seriously, we are not worthy, Dude...

19.07.11 - Build It And They Will Come...

It's been a while coming but we've finally unleashed the all-new Armalyte dot com. We've been stuffing Special K down the original site's throat like some crazed digital foie gras and can now reveal it's sleek new curves to the world. Designed by the beautiful Christian of Weber, doubtless there'll be some initial hiccups where I do my best to rape his code and ruin all his hard work, but stick with us, we'll get through it together. Now it may appear that we've been awfully quiet since the INCINERATOUR but that's more because we're the shy, understated type. Behind the scenes there's been a load going on including two (count 'em) bands joining Team Armalyte (much more info to follow...) and work continuing apace on new releases from CONCRETE LUNG, Digicore and Je$us Loves Amerika. So yeah, Armalyte: Not dead, just power-napping.

08.06.11 - Just One FiXt!

So, INCINERATOUR has been and gone and we're left with nought but good memories, bad hangovers and a copy of Razzle Extreme. Still, we had fun didn't we. Didn't we? We think so. In the spirit of getting back into it, whatever it may be, we've only gone and organised some form of U.S. ditribution with those sexy FiXt folk, home of Celldweller and some other bands. We don't know, since when do we listen to industrial??? They're now stocking the ever so sexy new albums from Digicore and Concrete Lung and, in a world exclusive (Hallelujah!) they are the exclusive (we did mention it was exclusive, yeah?) digital distributor for haloblack's 'throb.', one of our fave Armalyte releases ever. As you all, probably, know, haloblack became XLOVER who became MOTOR who know tour the world with Depeche Mode and Gary Numan, so now we are officially "people who know people". +10 cool points for us, eh? Anyway, we've completely digressed, what the funk were we yapping about? Oh, yeah, the United States of Armalyte... We've gone Amerikan. It's a big, scary, amazing place and it's now easier than ever to purchase your favourite Armalyte tunes direct from them if you're that way inclined. Jump to it, soldier!

28.02.11 - Digicore - 'Without Freedom' Out Now!

"Without freedom we will fall!" warn York noise-niks Digicore, and they've got a point. 11 tracks (and 2 remixes) of defiant, punishing alt.metal that combines gabber blasts with drum'n'bass to viscious, vital effect, the time is right for Digicore to make their mark on the world. Most of the reviews so far have been killer, and it's fair to say that we love 'em. Hopefully you will too.
